Goat Brain fry recipe | Adult and toddler friendly mutton brain fry recipe

If you prepare goat's brain in a spicy manner, toddlers will not eat it. So here is a toddler AND adult friendly brain fry recipe that everyone can enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Goat brain
  • tbsp Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • ½ tbsp Salt

  • Wash the brains well. Pour enough water in a pan and place the brains in them. Make sure the brains are fully inside of water.
  • Cook until the brain gets soft – you will need to cook in medium flame for about 15 minutes.
  • The brain will change to pale colour – that’s when it is cooked. Also check and make sure its cooked well using a spoon.
  • Switch off the flame, drain the water and let it cool down.
  • Once cooled, cut the brain into cubes as shown in the video. Don’t make very small pieces as the brain will then become pasty upon cooking further.
  • Now, warm oil in a kadai and add pepper, turmeric powder and salt. Give a stir for a few seconds – make sure you don’t burn the spices.
  • Now drop in the brain pieces and give a good gentle mix.
  • Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes. Don’t stir too much as the pieces will break.
  • Garnish with some coriander leaves and enjoy while it is warm.
