Quick and easy bread snack – Crispy Bread chilli recipe / How to make bread chilli

When you want to make a quick bakery style bread chilli, you need a simple recipe. Well, here's one simple bread chilli recipe where there are no complicated steps.

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 Bread slices
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • ½ tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Onion – 1 Small sized
  • Tomato – 1 small sized
  • 2 tbsp Capsicum chopped
  • ½ tbsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Chilli powder
  • ½ tbsp Garam masala / Chicken masala
  • 3 teaspoons Tomato sauce or Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Water

Bread chilli recipe

  • Cut the bread slices into cubes. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a pan, and fry the bread cubes until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
  • Chop onion, tomato and capsicum.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan and fry ginger garlic paste in it.
  • Add in the onion and fry till translucent.
  • Add the tomato and add salt. Fry till it turns mushy.
  • Add in the capsicum and fry for a minute. Add chilli powder and saute till the raw smell goes off.
  • Now add the chicken masala or garam masala and fry till the oil separates.
  • Add the tomato sauce or ketchup and saute briefly. Add one tablespoon water and mix well.
  • Now add the bread cubes and mix well so that the bread gets coated nicely with the chilli masala.
  • Your bread chilli is ready. Serve warm with a cup of tea or coffee!
