Goat brain fry recipe
- Wash the brains well. Pour enough water in a pan and place the brains in them. Make sure the brains are fully inside of water.
- Cook until the brain gets soft – you will need to cook in medium flame for about 15 minutes.
- The brain will change to pale colour – that’s when it is cooked. Also check and make sure its cooked well using a spoon.
- Switch off the flame, drain the water and let it cool down.
- Once cooled, cut the brain into cubes as shown in the video. Don’t make very small pieces as the brain will then become pasty upon cooking further.
- Now, warm oil in a kadai and add pepper, turmeric powder and salt. Give a stir for a few seconds – make sure you don’t burn the spices.
- Now drop in the brain pieces and give a good gentle mix.
- Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes. Don’t stir too much as the pieces will break.
- Garnish with some coriander leaves and enjoy while it is warm.
